‍What was the moment you first got drawn to sneakers, and which pair of sneakers triggered your passion?

I started loving sneakers when my sister gave me the Air Jordan after I joined the primary basketball team. As a kid, I wasn't familiar with sneakers and I wore it everywhere - not only during my basketball session! My first Air Jordan drive my sneaker journey ever since.

What’s one moment or trend in the history of sneaker culture that resonates with you?

Most of sneakerheads are respect each other and we like to help each other as we both love sneakers. Unfortunately, it's different with reseller, because they are doing it for money and I couldn't have a great friendship with them.

However, in here (Melbourne) different suburbs or store have their own "rules"; such as in CBD store, you can pay some money to the "leader" of the queue, so they would keep your spot. We have to learn how to deal with them.

Please describe how it feels to you when you get and wear a new pair of kicks?

WOOOAHHH. Excited. I’ll smell the new sneakers, I like the smell of a new shoes, it’s not about plastic smell, it’s an unique sense!

What are some of your favorite creators/designers or brands and why?

Keith Haring, Kaws, Takashi Murakami... etc too many. For brands, I love Nike and RIPNDIP. I like street fashion style and local art. I prefer to buy some stuffs from local/small designers instead of luxury ones.

What is one sneaker collaboration that doesn’t exist, but you wish/think should exist?

Um.... Lets say Nike X BV or Nike x Keith Haring. I like street art.

What are some of the current pairs of sneakers in your rotation?

Nike. I’m more focus on the cozy sneakers. Plus I just started running, so I mostly wear running shoes like Pegasus and Nike Air Max. The last but not least is Nike Air Jordan 3 for street fashion.

‍What is your ultimate holy grail sneaker that you have not managed to acquire so far?

Air Jordan 1 Banned. From day one of my collection until now, I still couldn’t buy this pair with retail price. The story of the sneakers is incredible and inspirable. Everyone wants to get ones, unfortunately my time not come yet.

Other than kicks, what are some of your daily essentials or treasured items?

A lot actually, um... As i like to keep the items which has memory like running metal, figure (not crazy limited edition), alcohol...etc because all of them have story with me - I wish could display them. However, after I moved into my current house, I keep most of the things in the storage.
