Without a shadow of a doubt, the Nike Mac Attack OG "Light Smoke Grey" is destined to be one of this season's most hyped drops. Regarded by many as the most legendary tennis shoe of all time, if you've never heard of it, that's probably because it hasn't seen the light of day since it was first released all the way back in 1984. That's almost 40 years ago!
Originally made for tennis icon John "Johnny Mac" McEnroe, the Mac Attack will be returning in its OG specification. Working on top of a ballistic mesh base, it's overlaid by "Light Smoke Grey" leather throughout and accented with "Black" across the toebox, collar, and Nike Swoosh. Perforations feature on the lateral and medial sidewalls for added ventilation, and all of this sits on top of a crisp white rubber midsole.
To keep in line with the '80s release, the checkerboard tongue tag is making a comeback too. This unique graphic also makes an appearance on the special edition shoebox, which comes packed with extra laces and accessories.
John McEnroe's Nike Mac Attack OG "Light Smoke Grey" is set to return on June 23rd. Keep it locked at Ox Street for your best chance to secure your size, and while you're here, you might as well take a closer look at Drake's NOCTA x Nike Glide "Black"!
