A love letter to the Tokyo-based brand.

To celebrate the hotly-anticipated release of the AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1 "Phantom," for this week's Trendy Tuesdays we'll be showcasing some of our favorite sneakers to come from Yoon Ahn and Verbal's iconic fashion label. Since 2008, the power couple have been the brains behind some of the boldest collections to ever hit the runway, and since then, some of the world's biggest A-listers, including ASAP Rocky, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, even the legendary Kanye West, have religiously worn pieces from the Tokyo-based label. If you've been lusting after a pair of AMBUSH sneakers for a while, you've come to the right place, as they're all available from Ox Street right now!

If you think of any other AMBUSH colorways and silhouettes that you think should have been added to this list, make sure to let us know over on Instagram, and don't forget to follow us as well for the best content that the Asian sneaker community has to offer!

AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High "Black"

Hands down one of the best sneakers to come from AMBUSH x Nike, the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High "Black" originally released in 2020 during the peak of the Dunk hype, and even three years later, it's considered by many to be one of the hottest collaborations of all-time. Inspired by a traditional pair of motorcycle boots, the ankle has been extended upwards for added support, and AMBUSH has also added a custom heel counter around the back to cement the coveted collection.

The reason why we're all here, the AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1 "Phantom" has officially launched and it's, no doubt, one of the hottest Forces of 2023. Equipped with a classic all-leather construction, it's painted in a crisp all-white color scheme and is contrasted by a Swoosh across the sidewalls which extends way past the heel to give wearers a sense of speed. The lace dubrae has also been totally 3D printed too. We're not sure why, but it's definitely a cool conversation starter.

The AMBUSH x Nike Air Adjust Force "Light Madder Root" has got to be one of the most unexpected collabs of 2022. While it might not be for everyone, we're glad that Yoon Ahn and Verbal decided to bring back the '90s basketball shoe and add their own twist to it. Offered in a fiery red leather and suede outfit, the Japanese brand also added a custom wrap around the upper, complete with a glossy window that showcases the Swoosh in all its glory.

While it's definitely not as popular as the aforementioned "Phantom," the AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1 "Black" will also be one of the best AF1s of 2023. Landing in a triple black leather construction that's as stealthy as it gets, it's contrasted by a crisp white Swoosh that sure to turn heads wherever you go. In case you haven't noticed, AMBUSH has also added a few millimeters of height to the Air midsole, quite literally taking your comfort to the next level.

And last but not least, we have the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High "Game Royal." A homage to some of the most iconic Jordans of all-time, this Dunk from 2021 boasts a full leather construction, complete with the extended collar setup and oversized Swoosh that we all know and love. The midsole underfoot is dipped in a slightly creamy hue, giving the shoe a seriously vintage vibe, and a waxy finish has been applied onto the laces to make the collaboration even more premium.
