Travis Scott's Air Jordan 1 Low is one of the best sneakers ever made.

After half a decade, Travis Scott's partnership with Nike has officially come to a close. Over the past five years, the Texas-born rapper single-handedly transformed the sneaker game with some of the most hyped collections of all-time. While we did showcase some of the best Cactus Jack kicks in a previous Trendy Tuesdays piece, this time around, we're going to shine the spotlight on La Flame's take on the Air Jordan 1 Low.

Undoubtedly one of his best silhouettes in history, the AJ1 Low was seen as a lesser version of the AJ1 High just a couple of years ago. With that said, thanks to Scott, hype surrounding the low-cut basketball shoe has now exploded and it has now become more popular than ever. In the time that the power duo have worked together, they dropped a total of five coveted colorways, so stop what you're doing and secure your size right now.

If you think of any other themes that we should explore for Trendy Tuedays, make sure to let us know over on Instagram, and don't forget to follow us as well for the best content that the Asian sneaker community has to offer!

Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low "Mocha"

The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low "Mocha" is the one that arguably kicked it all off. Introduced in the summer of 2019, this one dropped alongside a High version, but surprisingly many sneakerheads prefered the colorblocking on the low-top one more. Boasting a premium leather and suede construction, fans were in love with the chocolatey brown paneling that surrounds the entire upper, as well the backwards Swoosh that's dipped in white. This was also the first pair that debuted the hand-stitched winged basketball insignia around the heel.

It was pretty much all radio silence for two years, until 2021 when Travis Scott teamed up with the godfather of Japanese streetwear for the Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 Low "Royal." Decked out in all leather, this one borrows elements from Hiroshi Fujiwara's own Air Jordan 1 collab from 2014, including the crisp white base and bold blue accenting. While three-way collabs are already quite rare, this one pushed it to the limit.

Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low "Reverse Mocha"

Many sneakerheads would consider the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low "Reverse Mocha" from 2022 as the best of the bunch, and it's easy to see why. Taking the "Mocha" from 2019 and completely inverting it, this pair places the suede in the inside and the leather on the outside. It also borrows the creamy backwards Swoosh and Air midsole from the fragment design release, and it also came in full family sizing as well.

Two grails in one year? Impossible, but that's exactly what La Flame did when he launched the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low "Black Phantom" at the end of 2022. Up until this point, he had never released an all-black shoe, so this marked a first for the American rapper. Contrasted with white stitching throughout, this special edition pair also introduced a never-before-seen bumblebee graphic around the heels. While we still don't really know what this means, we love it anyway.

And finally, we have the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low "Olive." Allegedly his last shoe with the Jumpman brand, this one bears a striking resemblance to 2022's "Reverse Mocha" but adds lush olive tones throughout. This pair is also available in full family sizes, but interestingly, it was made exclusively for the ladies. That hasn't stopped some of you guys from forcing themselves into a pair though.
